"Annabeth! dinner is ready!" my step-mom called me in a high loving pitch voice. "Wait a minute!" I said as I close my laptop and try to look nice. And I went downstairs to the dining room. My step- parents and brother smiling warmly at me.
"I know you're doing your home work, but try to remember the dinner time," my step-mom said to me.
"I'm sorry,"  I said.
"It's okay," she said. "Now, now, let's eat. I made  you lamb stew with dried plum," she said. She tried this recipe from internet after she read the hunger games. And everyone like it.
